- You are in danger right now from things like a bushfire or flood.
You can call 106 from your teletypewriter or TTY in an emergency if you have trouble

You can also call 112 in an emergency.
112 is the emergency number for anywhere in the world.
You can only call this number from a mobile phone.
The phone does not need a sim card or pin number to call 112.
A sim card is a small card that goes in your phone to make it work.
You cannot send texts from your mobile phone to emergency services.
You can only call them.
You can also not call emergency service from your mobile phone if it has no connection.
If there is internet you might be able to call using the internet.
