This page is for NDIS providers.
It is about how to plan together with NDIS participants.
It can sometimes be hard to give people the same services in an emergency.
But it is important you try to give the people you support as many services as you can.
Each NDIS provider has different ways how they work during an emergency or disaster.
Some NDIS providers might have to stop their services until the emergency is over.
Some NDIS providers have plans for how to still give services to people that need a lot of support.
We made a fact sheet to help NDIS providers work out what they need to do.
To read the fact sheet go to
Talk to your NDIS participant about the support they might need in an emergency.
And make sure your staff know what they need to do.
Read the EMBER checklist for staff about what to take with them when evacuating in an emergency of disaster.
