Connect with emergency services
The more information emergency services have about vulnerable people and people with high support needs living in their area, the better prepared they can be to support them during an emergency or disaster.
Contacting your local emergency services is a good idea, particularly if you manage Specialist Disability Accommodation.
Facilitating contact between emergency services and NDIS Participants you support who have high support needs and are living independently in the community is also a good idea.
Reach out to your local emergency services and make a plan with them.
